The PAW CoolBloCs are pump groups which are used for heating as well as for cooling. They contain special valves and fittings and a special pump for the use in special ambient conditions which can occur during cooling and heating, such as dewing or condensate formation.
Heating technology in combination with cooling function
The innovative CoolBloC combines the proven heating technology of PAW with a cooling function.
The CoolBloCs are available in the nominal diameters DN 25 and DN 32 and are adapted to special ambient conditions.
All components are, within one pump group, perfectly designed for the requirements during heating and cooling.

CoolBloC pump group functioning:
Heating – Application during the winter:
A heat sink (e.g. a heat pump) provides cooled fluid.
The cooling circuit transports the cooled fluid to the interior spaces.
There, a heat transfer takes place and the fluid is heated.
The heated fluid is cooled down again in the heat sink.
Cooling – Application during the summer:
A heat source (e.g. a heat pump) provides heated fluid.
The cooling circuit transports the heated fluid to the interior spaces.
There, a heat transfer takes place and the fluid is cooled down.
The cooled fluid is heated again in the heat source.
