The whistleblowing system is an important element of good corporate governance. Within the framework of a fair and transparent procedure, the whistleblowing system protects the company, the affected parties and the informants. The system is based on faster, standardised processes, as well as confidential and professional processing of disclosures by internal experts.

SpeakUp guarantees the greatest possible protection for informants and affected parties. An investigation will only be initiated after careful examination of the disclosure and if there are concrete indications of rulebreaking. The investigations are conducted with the utmost confidentiality. The information is processed in a fair, fast and confidential process.

How to report compliance issues correctly

It is important that the disclosure you report to the Investigation Office is as specific as possible so that it can be properly processed and investigated.

It is helpful if you consider the following questions in your report:

As an informant, please ensure that your descriptions can also be understood by non-specialists. It is helpful if you are available for further questions.

How is the handling of personal data regulated?

Your reports will be processed in strict confidence. Your identity or the ways to determine your identity will not be mentioned, except in exceptional cases (as testimony in court) when the legal regulations make it mandatory. In certain cases, we are obliged to inform the accused person that a report has been received about them. This would happen if this information release would no longer affect the follow-up of the case. The data is only stored for as long as is necessary for the case tracking. The information is then deleted or made anonymous so that the reference to the identity of the informant is irrevocably annulled.
